when we pioneered a technology to manufacture the first fiberglass petroleum
storage tank. In fact, the UL 1316 standard was a result of our design work.
This standard applies to the fiberglass tank manufacturing of petroleum storage
tanks.
Despite having scaled up and
diversified our manufacturing capabilities in the last 47 years, our core area
of expertise remains unchanged. We are the largest American manufacturer of
underground fuel storage tanks. Our products can be found at airports,
municipalities, gasoline stations, industrial establishments, and more.
Containment Solutions Inc. offers a
wide product range under two broad categories—steel tanks for aboveground
storage and fiberglass tanks for underground storage. Furthermore, we offer a
range of accessories such as tank sumps and deadmen anchor systems.
The
safety quotient
When it comes to fuel or petroleum storage tanks, customers often have several apprehensions relating to safety,
leak-free properties, and durability of the tank. We address all of these
concerns right at the design stage to manufacture tanks that will pass the toughest
leak, pressure, and impact tests in the category. Our tanks are UL listed and
exceed today's regulations, in preparation for future standards.
The astronomical costs and liabilities
associated with fuel spillage and leaks are another reason for us to carry out
a battery of tests on each tank before it is dispatched for installation. Our
fiberglass tanks are made on steel molds from the inside out using a precise
computer-controlled process.
