Pioneers in Fiberglass Tank Technology, Leaders in Fluid Storage Solutions

In the petroleum and fuel storage industry, absolutely nothing can be left to chance. Which is why, we at Containment Solutions leave no stone unturned in putting together the best raw materials to create a safe and durable product. Through our presence on blogosphere, we hope to share updates and information relating to the storage tanks industry.

Ever since we pioneered a technology in 1965 to manufacture the first fiberglass tank, we have only grown from strength to strength. In fact, our design work resulted in the UL 1316 standard which governs fiberglass tank manufacturing for petroleum tanks.

We have come a long way from manufacturing fuel storage tanks to include an array of ancillary products and services in our list of offerings. Today, we are known for our expertise in handling of lubrication oils, water, wastewater and alternative bio-fuels such as ethanol and biodiesel.

The biggest differentiator between us and the competition is our dependability. Sample this: In over 40 years of our existence, more than 300,000 tanks have been successfully installed around the world.
Following are some of the core features of our fiberglass tank range:
  • The inherent non-corrosive properties make them safe for use with a wide array of fuels and other materials.
  • The inside-out mechanized non air-inhibited manufacturing process, by design, results in a fully cured smooth inner surface with a high gloss finish and no stray glass fibers. Competitive processes use a 2-step curing process that is dependent on wax coatings/liners to fully cure the surface.
  • Our unique tank wall is a matrix of high quality resin, glass and specially engineered treated silica. The result is a better tank laminate that is more corrosion resistant to alcohol, ethanol and bio fuel blends than laminates made without silane treated sand.
  • We use innovative technologies to measure the precise thickness of the tank. In short our tank wall is more uniform and consistent than others.
Appropriate and safe methods for fuel storage are a challenge faced by several industries across the world today. And we are proud of the fact that we are lending a hand in providing suitable solutions to this challenge.
